Am I On Track?

For years I had a good real estate business. I said good, not great. Two years ago, something changed. I did a business plan. Now I had a map of where I was going and if I was on the right road. The first year having a plan, I doubled my business. This year I beat my goal by 30%! If you've hit a wall in your business, do a plan now! January is too late.

Work on your business instead of in it!

I recently attended the Century 21 Top Agent Retreat in Coronado California. Some ask, "why do you travel so much or how to you have time to do it?" 

Do you find yourself working hard in your business, managing the details and putting out fires? Are you making it day by day, week by week. Just to find yourself surviving?

This week has allowed me to step back and take a look at my business from 30,000 feet. I was able to dialogue with top agents in my industry. I learned new techniques and tools I can use to be more efficient and effective.

Is it hard to step away sometimes? Sure, but I'll tell you, it's worth it!

So you have viewed the home and gather with your agent in the living room to discuss your options. Stop! Sellers are recording you! More and more sellers are recording the conversations that take place in their home. If you choose to discuss your offer strategy, you may be shooting yourself in the foot!
